Stations, Virginia Tech officials Thursday afternoon responded to the release of the report of Governor Kaine's Virginia Tech Review Panel, which commented on policies and procedures surrounding the April 16 shootings at the university.

Dr. Steger said the Review Panel's report was necessary, but not easy to listen to.

Dr. Steger noted a discussion in the report that it was suggested to the killer, Seung Hui Cho, back in high school that he probably should not attend a large college such as Virginia Tech, because he may not fit in well, but he came to the university anyway.

And Dr. Steger said the panel's findings agreed with Tech investigations that there was absolutely no warning of a mass murder such as the one Cho committed April 16.
